Hello all,
Im finally getting ready to leave for Ecuador. Just got waterproof shoes, repellent, and sunglasses, hope I dont need too much more. I guess this is the last time I will be living in Los Angeles. For the first time in my life I will call another place, San Francisco, home. But right now its time to see the world, or at least a part of South America.

Hey Nico, So you're off, are you? Thought you were starting in Chile, not Ecuador, seems a bit strange starting in the middle, then having to go down and back up again! Do check out the Galapagos... and watch your back, they don't like gringos around there these days...if they think you are working for the World BAnk they might deport you! but then, you aren't, are you? My family will miss you, but as Jay says... you are a lucky bastard. Take care and we will be watching the blog closely. Geography lessons will take on a whole new meaning for Kayden and Liam.
